Although administratively belonging to Hai Phong province, Cat Ba Island remains the largest island in Halong Bay complex. Having the area of around 300 square kilometers, Cat Ba Archipelago includes 367 small islands, in which, the main island is known as Cat Ba Island or Pearl Island (260 km2).
This complex is one of the most tourist’s favorite attractions in Halong Bay due to its natural scenery. Visiting Cat Ba Island, travelers can enjoy refreshing swimming or scuba diving in beautiful beaches.
